Roof style

Three roofs. One right answer for your site.

Vertical vs. regular roof
Regular

Regular

Good

Rounded eaves, panels run front to back.

Best for: Carports and buildings up to 36′ long, where cost matters most.

A-Frame

A-Frame

Better

A-frame roof with a standard 6″ eave overhang. Panels run front to back.

Best for: Garages and carports that should look like a house.

Vertical

Vertical

Best

A-frame with panels running from ridge to eave over hat-channel purlins.

Best for: Longer buildings, heavy rain and snow. Water slides straight off.

Regular and A-Frame roofs longer than 36′ need a horizontal seam in the panels and cannot be warrantied against leaks. A vertical roof has no seam.

Questions? Answers.

How much does a metal building cost?

It depends mostly on size, leg height, roof style and walls. A 12′ × 21′ regular carport starts at $1,690. Our price guide lists every standard size and option; your exact price comes in a free written estimate.

Where do you install?

We are based in Winston-Salem and install across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and East Tennessee, and in Kentucky, West Virginia and Alabama with a minimum order. Not sure if we reach you? Call us and we will confirm.

Can I customize my building?

Yes. Width, length, height, roof style, colors, walls, roll-up doors, walk-in doors, windows and lean-tos are all up to you.

Do I need a permit?

It depends on your county and the size of the building. We can tell you what is typically required and give you the building details you need to apply.

Who installs my building?

Our own crew. Before install day we let you know how to prepare the site so everything goes smoothly.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We partner with HFS Financial, an independent lender offering fixed-rate loans with terms up to 30 years. Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.

What size do I need?

Measure what you want to protect and add room to open doors and walk around. As a guide: one car needs about 12 feet of width, two cars need 20 to 24 feet, and RVs need extra height. We will help you size it.
