Roof style

Good. Better. Best.

Every size comes in three roof styles. The roof sets the base price.

Regular Good

Regular

Rounded eaves, with panels laid horizontally across the trusses. Common for carports and smaller projects, and the most cost-efficient way to cover up to 36′.

From · 12′ × 21′$1,690
A-Frame Better

A-Frame

The regular roof with an A-frame profile and a standard 6″ eave overhang. Panels still run horizontally, so it looks like a house roof for little more.

From · 12′ × 21′$1,825
Vertical Best

Vertical

The same 6″ eave overhang, with panels running from ridge to eave over hat-channel purlins. Rain, snow and debris slide straight off: bowling lanes instead of speed bumps.

From · 12′ × 21′$2,380

Regular and A-Frame roofs longer than 36′ need a horizontal seam in the panels and cannot be warrantied or guaranteed against leaks. A vertical roof has no seam.

Limited rust-through warranty on the framing.

Certified

Ratings are specific to your location and design, and printed on your site drawings.

Limited warranties are pro-rated: we credit the time left on the warranty toward replacement materials. A claim in year 12 of a 20-year warranty receives 8/20, or 40%, of the materials. Labor and other charges are not included.

Questions? Answers.

Is the estimator price the real price?

It is the real price for the building you configured, from the same guide our sales team quotes from. What it cannot know is your site: engineering for local wind and snow, permits, grading and long deliveries are added in your written estimate.

Why do you not publish a full price list?

Because a table of numbers prices nothing. Two buildings of the same size can differ by thousands once the legs, walls, doors and site are real. The estimator asks you those questions and gives you one number instead.

Are estimates really free?

Yes. We send a written, itemized estimate at no cost and with no obligation.

What is included in the base price?

The roof style you choose, 6′ legs, a standard 3/12 pitch, 14-gauge framing and 29-gauge panels, with open sides and ends. Taller legs, walls, doors, windows and upgrades are added in the estimator.

Why can I not pick my size?

The estimator covers widths of 12′ to 30′ and lengths up to 61′. Wider commercial buildings, longer buildings and special designs are engineered for your site and priced by a written quote.

Do I need a concrete slab?

Not always. Carports and many buildings can be anchored to level ground, gravel or asphalt. Enclosed garages and workshops usually benefit from concrete.

Do I need a permit?

It depends on your county and the size of the building. We can tell you what is typically required and give you the building details you need to apply.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We partner with HFS Financial, an independent lender offering fixed-rate loans with terms up to 30 years. Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.

What warranty do you offer?

A 1-year workmanship warranty on the installation, and 20-year limited rust-through warranties on the tubing and the metal panels.
